Families 1st Choice Home Care represents our dedication and passion to families and loved ones. Compassionate care and respect is important to everyone and especially those family members who need it the most – which may be when one cannot satisfactorily care for themselves or they just need a little extra help from time-to-time.


For those suffering from Alzheimer's and/or Dementia such ailments may require constant care and assistance. In such situations we can provide either Care services offered or a select combination of the different Families 1st Choice Care services: Companion, Personal, and/or Homemaker Care services to promote a secure, comfortable, and healthy family home environment. Alzheimer’s and Dementia affect many people and Families 1st Choice caregivers will work with you or your family member to help support the memory issues and individual health needs with many different approaches for example learning new things where possible and doing fun things together that are of interest, staying active at church or other community events, and helping you or your loved one stay in touch with family and friends. We will make it a point to use memory tools like big calendars and to-do-list, and keep a consistent organized and systematic schedule, and just as important, we’ll ensure there are opportunities to get regular exercise, eat well, and get plenty of rest. For loved ones with Alzheimer’s and or Dementia every day can be a challenge many times suffering with confusion, disorientation, memory loss, and changes in behavior, which can also reflect just how hard performing essential activities of daily living (ADL) can become. These changes can take a toll on an individual suffering with Alzheimer’s or Dementia and can ultimately play havoc with living a content life. Families 1st Choice will provide the assistance families need to help their loved one maintain a quality of life at their home where your loved one is most comfortable and most important, happy!
